How to Get a Guy to Kiss You

There always comes a time when a woman will want to know how to get a guy to kiss you. It may seem to be an odd situation because of the reputation that men have garnered over the years. Many years ago it was always up to the guy to make that first move for a kiss. Things have changed drastically these days. Now, if a woman wants a guy to kiss her, she is not always expected to wait on him to do the kissing.

In the 21st century, if a woman wants a guy to kiss her and he does not seem to be following through on the hints she is giving him, it is perfectly acceptable to simply initiate the kiss herself. In fact, a lot of guys actually appreciate this, especially if they are just extremely shy with women. Another reason they don’t mind it is that a lot of them are not sure if YOU want to be kissed or not. By kissing them first, you are clearing up that issue for them. Chances are, in this case, you will not have to initiate the next kiss you get from him.

Now, if you happen to be a bit old fashioned and are not comfortable with taking that first step on your own to get a guy to kiss you, there are a few other things you can do. The most important is to let him know in some way that you DO want him to kiss you. Many times this involves just moving in a bit closely to him and maintaining some serious eye contact. He should get the message pretty easily but if he does not, there are still other methods to try.

If the problem seems to be getting him close enough, you may need to do a bit of teasing and playing to get that to happen without seeming so obvious. One of the fastest ways to get a guy close enough to you for a kiss is to playfully take something away from him and hold it behind your back. He will nearly always try to reach behind you to get the item back and this puts him right in your face. Many good things can happen when you do this including getting that kiss you want.

Dancing with a guy can also get him to kiss you. All you have to do is be sure it is a slow song that will necessitate him holding you close. At some point, just move your head from his chest or shoulder, and look up at him. If the look on your face is inviting enough, you can be assured that he will want to kiss you. Turn your face up to him and let him know that you are open to that idea.

The big deal seems to be getting that first kiss, because after the first one, the guy knows you want him to kiss you so there is not as much nervousness as before. It is just getting that kiss the first time that can be the problem. Be sure that you have taken some steps to ensure it happens.

Brush your teeth and pop a breath mint. This helps you to know that your breath is nice and not putting off signs of that garlicky food you may have had earlier. Bad breath puts ANYONE off. Don’t wear a LOT of lip gloss or lipstick. You need just enough to make your lips soft and a tiny bit shiny to make them appear inviting, and you don’t want him sliding off your mouth while trying to kiss you.

Doing all you can to appear willing and approachable will land you that first kiss. After that, it’s no longer an uphill battle.
