How to Keep a Man Wanting You

Now that you have landed that man you have been dreaming about forever, your next worry may be in how to keep a man wanting you. This is not as silly a worry as some may think because after the “honeymoon period” of a relationship is over, it can be a bit challenging to keep things feeling new and exciting. Many may balk at this by saying that if there is true love, there is no need to worry. That would not be a totally accurate assessment of the situation.

Once the newness of a relationship has worn off, your man’s eyes may no longer be blinded by the brightness of his new love for you. There are other very attractive women in the world and he may now no longer be immune to noticing them.  So how do you combat that sort of threat to keep it from becoming a reality?

First of all, it IS true that if your man sincerely loves you, he may LOOK but he will not touch. Monogamy is a difficult thing for many men and you should understand that just because he is in a relationship with you now, doesn’t mean that he will no longer be blind to beautiful women. Think of it another way: You still notice hot men, don’t you? That does not mean you are not in love with your man, does it? Of course not! It’s just normal human behavior.

However, there are some things you can do to keep your relationship feeling new and exciting on an ongoing basis. All you really have to do is keep treating it like it is new whether you have been together for 6 weeks or 6 years. It is not as difficult as you may think, either.

The first thing to do is never forget to treat your man like a man. Remember all of the things that drew you to him in the beginning, and the things that you did to make him want you. Then recreate those moments. If you know that he likes seeing you wear a certain outfit, work that in to a night out. Make sure you have plenty of his favorite perfume so that you will keep yourself in his thoughts even after you have parted.

Spoil and pamper him. Men love this and when you are giving them everything they could possibly want, why would they ever want to look elsewhere? You are keeping your relationship alive through a process of repeating the good things about your past together. This will keep the memories flowing and maintain all the good feelings that have been a part of your relationship from the beginning.

Now one last thing: Jealousy is not attractive. Confidence, however, is VERY attractive to men. So if you are out with your man and he happens to glance at a beautiful woman, say something like, “Oh she has amazing hair, doesn’t she?” Show this man that you are confident enough in yourself that you are not threatened by the beauty of another woman. This will command his respect faster than anything else you can do.
