How to Get a Guy to Like You When His Parents Don’t

A lot of women face the problem of how to get a guy to like you when his parents don’t. Most of the time, it is not your fault if this man’s parents find you abhorrent, for some reason. It can be something as silly as your family not being rich enough or influential enough. Many times, it is mostly the issue of the mother because there is no woman who will ever be good enough for her baby boy. The real question, though, is it possible to still get this guy to like you, or keep liking you, regardless of what his family thinks?

This is one of those yes and no questions. It IS possible to come up with a way of how to get a guy to like you when his parents don’t, but it will not be an easy road for you to travel. In fact, that should probably be the first question you ask yourself: Is this guy worth a possible lifetime of misery from his parents? If your answer to that one is affirmative, then you will want to continue with your quest for the ultimate answers.

First of all, find out all you can about the guy’s parents before you ever meet them. This helps you to know important little things such as how to dress, what to talk about, and basically, how to conduct yourself when around them. If you can learn such things as what their favorite foods are and some of their passionate hobbies, you can brush up on those subjects. A perfect attempt to get to know this guy’s parents better is to invite them to dinner that you have cooked, serving their favorite meal. While they are there, keep a conversation going about those passionate subjects of theirs. But it may be better to try to avoid things like politics, as that can be rather treacherous ground.

There are other things you can do to try to make a favorable impression on the parents, and you should do as many of them as you can. The main thing, though, is that you are showing this guy you like just what a great woman you are. He HAS to be impressed with all of the effort you are making to get his parents to at least accept you, if they cannot like you for some reason. This should only serve to make him like you that much more. It may also give him a bit of an insight into the type of people his parents are, especially if you are doing all of these things to get them to like you and they still are treating you like the hired help or worse.

There is only so much you can do in how to get a guy to like you when his parents don’t. Once you have tried it all, you still may not have the guy’s parents crazy about you, but all of your efforts will probably have landed you the guy.
