How to Get a Guy to Call You

Many women go through the misery of how to get a guy to call you. It’s not something that is rare because, typically, most guys will get your phone number and you will never hear from them again. This leaves you wondering what you did wrong. In reality, you didn’t do anything wrong. A lot of guys just don’t call you for a variety of reasons.

To begin with, not many guys actually LIKE to talk on the phone. They prefer to meet in person or maybe even email you. This may be due to a job that keeps them on the phone all day or it could just be that they don’t feel that connected in a phone call. However, take heart, because with these guys, they WILL call you when they want to get to know you better. They will be calling you to ask for a date.

Suppose, though, that you met someone at a party or a night club and you thought the two of you really hit it off. He even asked for your phone number before you parted ways. A week later, he still hasn’t called you and you are ready to write him off. Before you start assuming things, consider that he may have lost your phone number. That really DOES happen sometimes. He may also have a job that has kept him so crazy busy that he hasn’t had time for anything beyond working, eating, bathing and sleeping since he met you. Just don’t jump to conclusions.

Now that you know a few of the reasons that he didn’t call you, it’s time to look at some ways to increase the likelihood that he WILL call you at some point. They aren’t really all that difficult to remember or put into place. You just need to know about them so you can try them out the next time you meet a guy you really want to call you.

The first one is so simple that all women are probably aware of it. This one lets him asks for your phone number, which you will give him. In order to keep him from losing it, make sure he enters it into his cellphone, if he has one. This will ensure that your phone number is right in there where it will be safe. Also be sure he puts your name beside it so he won’t be wondering later who the phone number belongs to and accidentally deletes it.

Another way to guarantee that you will at least speak to him again is to TRADE phone numbers with him. So when you give him your phone number, ask him for his in return. Usually, this is not a problem and the guy will happily give you the number. However, if he is hesitant or actually refuses to give you his number, you can probably figure you won’t be hearing from him.

The idea behind getting his phone number, too, is so that if you have not heard from him in a decent amount of time, YOU can give HIM a call. Tell him that you saw his phone number in your cell phone today and you realized that you hadn’t heard from him. You can tell by his reaction whether or not he is happy you called him. This could always lead to him asking you out, and more phone calls from him in the future.

One last method of how to get a guy to call you is a bit devious but has worked before. Get one of those disposable cell phones, or ones that you load money onto and “accidentally” leave it by him when you leave. Most likely, he will call you to let you know he has found your cell phone. This also gives you the chance to see him again.
