Helpful Hints for How to Make a Guy Like You

When you really want to know how to make a guy like you, there are some things to keep in mind. While these are not actually difficult things to do, they are high on the list of priorities if you are sincere about the success of the process. Have a look at the following simple hints and see what you can do with them.

* Don’t focus on MAKING someone like you. This is something that is not possible and you should not waste any energy on it. Any man who requires you to be a certain way, even though that is not you, is not even worth the effort for you. You need to focus on finding someone who will like you for who you are and may even fall in love with you at some point. Just be yourself.

* Show others who you are. Consider what you are the most passionate about and just do it. You will not only have fun, but you will also find men with interests similar to you. Of course, a bar is a great place to spot eye candy. However, in the grand scheme of things, is there really a chance for a relationship like this to last? If you do not have things in common, how will you maintain a meaningful relationship?

* If you want respect, you must respect yourself. You probably have met or known women who try to get compliments by making disparaging remarks about themselves. Honestly, men do not want to hear any bad things about you.  When you start to put yourself down, all you are doing is convincing the guys that you are not worth their effort. If you think about it, would you really want to be around someone who was constantly telling you that you deserve better? Before long, he will start to believe that you are right.

* Offer your guy some space at times. Boys will be boys and all boys tend to feel they need their boys’ night out. Just let him go and use that time to spend with YOUR friends doing things you really want to do. Being clingy is one of the fastest ways to kill a relationship. If you spend some time apart, it gives you a chance to miss each other.

* Don’t have sex too quickly. Sadly, this is a double standard that seems to never go out of style. It is still true that if you let on that you are as easy as he is, things will never work out. Sure, he might stay around for a little while, but it will most likely be a situation of friends with benefits rather than a true boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. A lot of guys will deny this is true but when you think about it, they just have their own agenda when they tell you that. This does not mean that you have to wait until you get married before you have sex. It simply means that you should be selective and not say yes to every guy who asks.

These tips can all come down to just one thing: respect and love yourself. You see, by feeling good about the person you are, you can attract good men. These are the men who will be worth your time, effort and love.
