How to Flirt with Men without Appearing Easy

Something that most women want to know is how to flirt with men without appearing easy. In this day and age, this may be a rather difficult task since so many men are out and about just looking for sex. It is those men you must be careful with because they will take any sign of friendliness as encouragement that you are also interested in a one night stand. However, there are ways that you can flirt without it appearing that you want sex.

The places that you flirt with men obviously have a strong bearing on how it will look to the men you are flirting with. By flirting with the man in line next to you at the bank, or the dry cleaners, it should be apparent to him that you are not trying to pick him up. This is also true of attractive men in other mundane locations. They will just think you are being friendly and will probably even flirt back with you.

Places where you will want to be careful in how to flirt with men are, of course, nightclubs and bars. Many of these establishments are actually “meat markets” and everyone there is hoping to “get lucky.” Therefore, if you are in one of those places and you are alone or with a group of women, you can expect to take part in some serious flirting. But keep in mind that the men involved in this flirting are hoping and desiring much more from you than you may be willing to give. It is also in these locations that it really may not matter how subtle you keep the flirting. These men are LOOKING for an opportunity and they may over exaggerate any friendly smile you give them.

It IS possible to flirt without appearing that you are “easy.” A slight smile, while looking up at a man with your eyes fixed on him, is showing friendliness and that you find him attractive enough to be worth your time and energy by flirting with him. If you have practiced your flirting skills enough, they will become second nature to you. Flirting will come to you as easily as breathing after a bit. When you have flirting down to an art, you will seem friendly and not easy. That is the level you want to be.

Smiling works well along with a heavy dose of humor. In fact, humor can very easily be injected to all flirting and allow the encounter to be kept as light as you want. When you have arrived at the flirting skill level where you really are not bothered if someone does not respond to your flirting, you will know that you are at the point you want to be. Flirting will be so natural to you that it is just how you communicate with men, and they will understand this intuitively without feeling you are coming on to them. There is another type of flirting that will get THAT point across.
