How to Flirt with a Guy in Church

It may seem odd that to think of flirting and church in the same sentence but there are many women who want to know how to flirt with a guy in church. Granted, you are not supposed to be in church and thinking about flirting with guys, but it happens. When you see that new church member who just happens to be handsome and single, it is only natural that you will want to get to know him better. But is it appropriate to flirt in church? You may be a bit surprised at what you can accomplish, even in a church.

First of all, if your church is divided up into different groups, you may find that you are in his Sunday school class. That gives you an excellent opportunity to get to know him better. If you can establish some contact with him during the pre-church service, you may be able to manage sitting with him for the sermon. You may get even luckier and be short a hymn book that you will need to share with him.

Sitting together during church services offer many great chances for innocent touching and exchanges of smiles. Many churches have a portion during their services where all members are asked to greet each other, or hold hands for a prayer. This gives you the perfect chance to give his hand a little extra squeeze, which just may convey the idea that you are a bit interested in him.

A lot of churches hold a social hour following the service where they have coffee, cake, soft drinks and other snacks. It is encouraged that members talk to each other. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the object of your attention a bit better. If he is new in town as well as to your church, you may offer to show him around if he would like. Don’t push too hard right away. You don’t want to appear desperate and over eager.

Introduce him to other members of the congregation so that he will see that you are not trying to keep him all to yourself. Leave his side at some point so that you will have the chance to smile at him from across the room. Maintain eye contact as much as you can without seeming creepy. If he seems to be returning this contact, he just may be returning your interest.

Before leaving, since it IS church, you may be able to get by with a slight hug. You can also find a way to give him your phone number that does not seem suspicious. Once he has the number, he can call you for any reason. Organize something that gives you a legitimate reason to see him again. The more you are around him the more chances you have to let him know how lovely you are.

Dress nicely when you know you may be seeing him at church. Of course, this would be a different “nicely” than if you were heading out to a club or something. However, you can still look attractive. Top it off with good makeup and memorable perfume, and you are ready to start subtly flirting.
